The Military Technological College celebrated the graduation of its ninth cohort of students on the evening of Tuesday, 2 December 2025. The official ceremony was held under the patronage of His Excellency Dr. Mohammed bin Nasser Al Zaabi, Secretary General of the Ministry of Defence and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of MTC. The event was attended by Rear Admiral, Commander of the Royal Navy of Oman and Chairman of the College’s Board of Directors, commanders of military services, members of the Boards of Trustees and Management, senior officers, officials, and parents.

The ceremony marked the graduation of the eighth batch of Bachelor’s degree students, the ninth batch of Advanced Diploma students, and the fourth batch of the Geomatics Engineering Diploma programme. It featured speeches by the Dean of the College and the President of the University of Portsmouth, as well as a visual presentation and military musical performances.

The guest of honour presented awards to the outstanding students from various academic and technical programmes in recognition of their excellence and achievements throughout their years of study. A commemorative gift was also presented to the guest of honour. This ceremony reflects the academic success, practical training, and military discipline achieved by the students, who now embark on a new professional journey as they join various units of the Ministry of Defence and the Sultan’s Armed Forces, carrying with them the knowledge and skills acquired at this distinguished military academic institution.
