February 7, 2024The Military Technological College is taking part in the Oman Innovation Festival 2024 from February 05 to February 10, 2024, along with several other local universities and colleges in Oman, under the patronage. HH Sayyid Shihab bin Tarik Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for Defense Affairs. The college pavilion included an exhibition containing models representing the college’s science club and some other student projects. The Admissions and Registration Department and the Center for Development and Continuing Education also participated in introducing the various specializations and study programs offered by the college, as well as the admission conditions and incentives that distinguish a student affiliated with the Military Technical College, and the training courses. February 6, 2024  The Military Technological College participated in the Global Higher Education Exhibition (GHEDEX) which was held from February 03 to February 06, 2024, along with several other local universities and colleges in Oman, under the patronage. HH Sayyid Kamil bin Fahd Al Said, Assistant Secretary-General of the office of the Deputy Prime Minister for the Council of Minister. This event provides a platform for the college to engage with students, parents, and other interested individuals, and showcase the range of disciplines and study programmes that the college offers. February 4, 2024On Sunday morning, 04/02/2024, the Military Technological College received a delegation from Joaan bin Jassim College of command and staff in Qatar, the visit program began with a comprehensive presentation of the Military Technological College and its educational and service facilities, including engineering workshops and the Metaverse Center. December 27, 2023The Military Technological College (MTC), represented by the Security and Safety Committee, in cooperation with Sultan Qaboos University Hospital, organized a blood donation campaign for MTC staff and students on Tuesday, December 12, 2023. The campaign basically aims to urge the MTC community to donate their blood to those in need and to educate them about the significance of blood donation, whether on a personal or community level, and its positive impact on saving others’ lives. December 27, 2023The Military Technological College (MTC) celebrated the outstanding staff members for their participation and efforts in various committees, activities, and events during the AY22/23 through the annual gratitude ceremony Al Erfan Day. The Ceremony was held under the patronage of AMEED Rukn Engineer. Mohamed bin Aziz Al Siyabi, Dean of MTC on Tuesday, December 12, 2023 and was attended by Directors, Vice Deans and Heads of Departments at the College. Al Erfan Day is held annually to honor and motivate MTC staff members to exert more efforts and to employ their personal talents and creativity in lifting up the College.  Read more...
December 27, 2023On Monday, December 11, 2023, the Military Technological College, represented by the Foundation Program Department, organized a visit to the Oman Across Ages Museum for several of the department’s students. The visit aims to introduce the students to this newest and unique cultural edifice and the various facilities it contains, as well as to make them aware of the unique character of the Sultanate of Oman and introduce With its advantages, ancient history and renaissance, which continues to push it forward at the local and international levels under the wise leadership of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tariq the Great (may God protect and preserve him), to contribute to spreading awareness and consolidating the relationship of Omani youth with the cultural heritage and urging them to interact in a way that inspires them effectively in building… Their homeland and its features. December 27, 2023On Wednesday, December 6, 2023, the Military Technological College (MTC), represented by the General Studies Department, organized a visit to the National Museum for a number of students from L4. The visit aims to introduce the students to this cultural edifice and the various facilities it contains. Students’ visits to various museums are basically organized to make them aware of the most prominent components of the local cultural heritage since the emergence of the human civilization on it and up to the present time, through which we anticipate the promising future. December 27, 2023On Tuesday December 5, 2023, the Military Technological College (MTC) celebrated the 7th Graduation Ceremony under the patronage of His Excellency Lieutenant-General Hassan bin Mohsen Al-Sharqi, Inspector General of Police and Customs. In this occasion, MTC celebrated the graduation of the 7th batch of Advanced Diploma students, the 6th of BEng students and the 2nd of Geomatics Engineering Diploma students. The Ceremony comprised of a speech by MTC Dean, a speech by the University of Portsmouth Vice Chancellor, the academic partner, a visual presentation, and other various elements. The Ceremony was concluded by the Patron honoring the outstanding graduates followed by handing a memorial gift to the Patron. This Ceremony comes to crown the journey of the 7th batch of MTC students, which they spent among the sides of this majestic educational edifice and to celebrate their efforts and perseverance throughout their studies to start a new chapter in their career by joining the services and the workplace. November 27, 2023The Military Technological College, represented by the Development and Continuing Education Centre, in cooperation with Sterling Academy in the United Kingdom, concluded on Wednesday, November 8, 2023, the Advanced Logistics and Supply Chain Services course, which was held between October 15 and November 7, 2023, under the patronage of Colonel Doctor Nasser bin Salem Al Hinai, Assistant Chief of Medical Services, for Medical Affairs of the Sultan’s Armed Forces. A number of officers and non-commissioned officers from various military and security services participated in this course. The course focused on several aspects, including inventory management and modern techniques in supply chain management logistics services in the military context. Read more...
November 27, 2023The Military Technological College hosted this morning, Tuesday, November 14, 2023, a group of students from alshikh Hamed bin Abdullah Alsalmi and MS Schools. The visit commenced with a briefing about MTC, including its academic and support services, and a detailed presentation on MTC academic programs and study stages. The visit also included a tour of the Aeronautical Engineering Workshop where students were introduced to the modern and advanced technologies available at the college. November 27, 2023On Tuesday, November 7, 2023, the Student Counseling Unit in the Admission and Registration Department, in cooperation with the Students Science Club, Dr. Hilal bin Khalfan Bani Araba, an educational and leadership trainer, presented a lecture entitled “Educational Psychological Burnout”. This lecture comes within a series of distinguished lectures and workshops related to educating students. The lecture addressed a number of topics, including how to recognize academic psychological burnout and how to overcome its symptoms. At the end of the lecture, a set of preparations and directions were provided to the students for success and excellence. Read more...
November 27, 2023The Military Technological College, represented by the Department of Geomatics Engineering, participated in the celebration of World Geographic Information Systems Day, which falls on the fifteenth of November of each year. This ceremony was held by the Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning, under the patronage of His Excellency the distinguished Minister of Housing and Urban Planning. November 27, 2023The Military Technological College, represented by the Science Club, and in cooperation with Aeronautical Engineering, organized a workshop on Rockets, which began on Monday, October 23, 2023, and will continue for four weeks. This workshop includes a series of lectures and workshops that focus on the mechanism of rockets, their types, and components, and motivate researchers who want to compete. In this aspect, this workshop also aims to raise the level of education and scientific research and enhance awareness of this vital aspect. Read more...
November 27, 2023The Military Technological College (MTC) hosted the 1st Oman Quality Day, 2023 in cooperation with the Oman Association for Quality in Higher Education (OAQHE) during the period from (15-16) November 2023, where the opening ceremony was held under the patronage of H. E. Dr. Rahma bint Ibrahim Al Mahrooqi, Minister of Higher Education, Scientific Research and Innovation. The event witnessed an active participation of many experts, lecturers and researchers in higher education institutions. It was also attended by students and those interested in this field. Experts and researchers presented a variety of specialized research papers on various topics related to governance and management, continuous development and innovation and effective cooperation between higher education institutions and the industrial sector. The programme of the event included many lectures and discussion sessions, which undoubtedly enabled the participants to exchange experiences and knowledge and discuss the principles and modern methods to advance this field and achieve the quality sought by academic institutions in the Sultanate to achieve Oman’s Vision 2040.
