اختتمت الكلية العسكرية التقنية فعاليات الأسبوع العلمي الخامس الذي أقيم في الفترة من 21 إلى 24 أكتوبر 2024م تحت رعاية العميد الركن بحري / عبدالله بن علي الهاجري، رئيس دائرة مكتب صاحب السمو السيد نائب رئيس الوزراء لشؤون الدفاع، وبحضورالمدراء وكبار الضباط ورؤساء الاقسام والموظفين بالكلية العسكرية التقنية. كان عنوان الفعالية "آفاق الذكاء الاصطناعي وتكنولوجيا المستقبل"، تضمن الأسبوع مجموعة من الفعاليات والبرامج، بما في ذلك مسابقات التحدي في مجالات الهاكثون والرياضيات , و مجال الإختراق الإلكتروني بين طلاب المؤسسات التعليمية، بالإضافة إلى معرض للمشاريع العلمية للموظفين والطلاب، وتنظيم سلسلة من المحاضرات وورش العمل العلمية والتعليمية ذات الصلة. في ختام الحفل، قام راعي المناسبة بتكريم المنظمين والمحكمين والطلاب الذين حصلوا على المراكز الأولى في المسابقات المختلفة، فضلاً عن تكريم طلاب الكلية العسكرية التقنية في مجال البحث العلمي والابتكار.

شاركت الكلية العسكرية التقنية في النسخة الثانية من مسابقة "هاكاثون ناسا لتطبيقات الفضاء" التي أقيمت بتاريخ (5-6) أكتوبر 2024م، بتنظيم من الجامعة التقنية والعلوم التطبيقية تحت شعار "الشمس تلامس كل شيء". وقد شهد الحدث مشاركة حوالي (75) مشروعاً من مختلف مؤسسات القطاعين العام والخاص في سلطنة عمان، برعاية صاحب السمو السيد فارس بن تركي بن محمود آل سعيد. كما حصلت الكلية على جائزة أفضل توظيف للتكنولوجيا بمشروع "MTC SPACE"، الذي تم بالتعاون بين طلبة هندسة الطيران وطلبة هندسة الجيوماتيكس.
