The Oman University Sports Committee concluded their Cross-Country Running Championship for Higher Education Institutions on Tuesday, March 22, 2023 at the Sports Complex of the Military Technological College. Colonel / AbdulKarim bin Abdullah bin AbdulKarim Al Farsi - Director of Military Activities - presided over the event, which was attended by the Vice President of the Oman University Sports Committee, representatives from the International Association of Athletics Federations, and representatives from the universities and colleges who took part in the championship.   The tournament concluded with a 10 km cross-country race across the Sultanate, in which the MTC team achieved first place overall. This championship seeks to improve students' sportsmanship, enhance their skills for local, regional and international competitions, and bring attention to the significance of physical activity for maintaining good health and physical fitness.
