The Military Technological College is organizing Oman International Conference on Water Resources Engineering and Management, which is concerned with the engineering and management of water resources and the challenges they face locally and globally. The Conference will be held in November 2021, with the participation of local and international academics, researchers and specialists.   This international event aims to contribute to the development and improvement of water sector in the Sultanate particularly and in the region generally. It is also aiming at studying and discussing a wide range of challenges in this field to ensure a sustainable water future for Oman and for societies around the world. The conference will discuss more than (30) important research papers, and many contributions will be presented by international keynote speakers, who are known for their various contributions to scientific research.   It will include eight main axes: drinking water and wastewater treatment, rational management of water resources, water distribution systems and water losses, sustainability and rationalization of energy use, recycling and water reuse, design and construction of water infrastructure and its costs, decision-making and modeling and mathematical simulation.   The Military Technological College organizes many scientific conferences and training workshops with the aim of sustaining scientific and academic levels, exchanging ideas and opinions, discussing ideas in the fields of scientific research, innovations and development, and benefiting from regional and international scientific experiences in this regard.
