The first annual meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Military Technological College, chaired by His Excellency, Dr. Mohammed bin Nasser Al Zaabi, Secretary-General of the Ministry of Defense and Chairman of the Board of Trustees, was held at the College this morning. The board members included:

• Vice Admiral Abdullah bin Khamis Al Raisi, Chief of Staff of the Sultan's Armed Forces.
• Major General Matar bin Salem Al Balushi, Commander of the Royal Army of Oman.
• Major General Staff Pilot Khamis bin Hammad Al Ghafri, Commander of the Royal Air Force of Oman.
• and Vice Admiral Saif bin Nasser Al Rahbi, Commander of the Royal Navy.

 In attendance were:

• His Excellency Dr. Saif bin Abdullah Al Haddabi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Higher Education, Scientific Research and Innovation for Scientific Research and Innovation;
• His Excellency Dr. Saeed bin Hamad Al-Rubaie, President of the University of Technology and Applied Sciences.
• Ali bin Saud Al-Bimani, President of the National University of Science and Technology.
• Nabil bin Zahran Al-Rawahi, Dean of the College of Engineering at Sultan Qaboos University;
• and Air Commodore/Dr. Mohammed bin Aziz Al Siyabi, Dean of the Military Technological College.

At the beginning of the meeting, His Excellency, the Secretary-General of the Ministry of Defense and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the College welcomed the members and expressed his hope that the objectives of the College would be achieved. The Council then discussed the items on the agenda. To conclude the meeting, His Excellency Dr. Mohammed bin Nasser Al Zaabi, Secretary-General of the Ministry of Defense and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Military Technological College, signed three key documents: The Charter of the Military Technological College, the MTC Strategic Plan, and the MTC Governance Framework.
