The General Foundation Programme (GFP) Department at the Military Technological College (MTC) organised the first Benchmarking exercise with the General Foundation Programme (GFP) at the Oman Tourism College (OTC) on June 8^th 2023. The one-day visit programme started at 8 a.m. and covered 13 areas aiming at identifying best practices and sharing experiences to better meet each programme’s goals. The visit programme commenced with having both teams present a brief introduction about each HEI and their GFPs. This was followed by 12 sessions during which both teams discussed the agreed benchmarking topics in detail. The benchmarking visit concluded by presenting a memorial gift to the OTC team and taking photos.
