On Tuesday, October 2025,14, the Military Technological College held a ceremony to receive its institutional accreditation certificate under the patronage of Her Exc. Prof. Dr. Rahma bint Ibrahim Al-Mahrouqi, Minister of Higher Edu-cation, Research, and Innovation. The event was attended by His Exc. the Sec-retary-General of the Ministry of Defense, the Chairman of the Board of Trust-ees, the Chief of Staff of the Sultan’s Armed Forces, service commanders, members of the Boards of Trustees and Directors, as well as senior officers and guests. The ceremony included a speech delivered by the Dean of the MTC, Dr. Mohamed Al Siyabi, followed by a receipt of its Institutional Accreditation Certificate after comprehensive evaluation process conducted by the Oman Authority for Academic Accreditation and Quality Assurance of Education (OAAAQA). With this achievement, the Military Technological College became the first military academic institution in the Sultanate of Oman to obtain institutional accreditation.
