From 4 to 6 March 2024, the Military Technological College organized the 2024 Open Days. The opening ceremony was held on Monday, 4th March, 2024, under the patronage of H.E. Engineer/ Odai bin Hilal bin Nasser Al-Mawalli, Director of the Medical City for Military and Security Services. The event was attended by MTC Dean, Assistant Deans, Directors and Heads of Department. Following the opening ceremony and accompanied by the Dean, the gust went around the exhibition centre to get an idea about activities of the participating MTC units. This was followed by a visit to some MTC facilities.
The Open Days concluding ceremony was held under the patronage of Eng. Air Commodore Mohamed bin Aziz Al Siyabi, Dean of Military Technological College, in the presence of the Vice Deans, Directors and Heads of Departments. After welcoming the patronage and attendees, a video was presented showcasing the most important events and activities. The Head of the evaluation committee explained the evaluation process and announced the winning units.
In the academic category, Training Needs Analysis was awarded the first place, Systems Engineering second place, and Aeronautical Engineering was the winner of third place. At the administrative side, Estates and Facilities was awarded the first place, followed by Information Technology and Systems, and the Directorate of Military Activities and the Medical Center as third winners.
The Military Technological College holds open days annually to introduce potential students and their families to the college’s offerings, including the programmes of study, admission requirements and incentives available to students. During the open days, visitors are given an overview of the college’s academic and administrative features, as well as details about how to apply for and secure study vacancies, as well as incentives offered during and after the study period.
